Four collegiate students have been selected as Wisconsin Farm Bureau’s Event Ambassadors. In the fourth year of this program, Amalia Draxler, Brooke Mallek, Cassidy Finke and Hannah Yeager will use digital platforms to share highlights from the WFBF Annual Meeting & YFA Conference, Dec. 4-7, 2026 at the Kalahari Resort and Convention Center in Wisconsin Dells.
The goal of the ambassador program is to provide collegiate students with the opportunity to gain hands-on experience covering an event while also having a strong social media presence for a unique audience. These positions require writing skills relevant to social media, the ability to capture and edit photos, an understanding of social media content creation and strategy, and an eye for capturing the most interesting stories within a fast-paced environment.
Amalia Draxler is a fourth-year student studying agricultural and applied economics and life sciences communication at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Amalia has been deeply involved in agriculture and leadership through her involvement with Wisconsin FFA, Fairest of the Fair, the Association of Women in Agriculture, Collegiate Farm Bureau at UW-Madison, Badger Dairy Club and other campus organizations.
Brooke Mallek is a senior studying agricultural education at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville. She is actively involved in UW-Platteville Collegiate Farm Bureau, the Agriculture Ambassador program and serves as vice president of the Agriculture Education Society. Brooke also owns Grace Mae Photography LLC and has gained experience in agricultural communications and social media through her internships with Gather Wisconsin, Wisconsin FFA and the Wisconsin Association of Agricultural Educators.
Cassidy Finke is a senior studying animal science with a pre-veterinary emphasis at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville. She is actively involved on campus as an Ag Ambassador, Pre-Veterinary Club Symposium Co-Chair, Women in STEM Peer Mentor and a member of Agricultural Women’s Association, Collegiate Farm Bureau and Pioneer Dairy Club.
